The League(s)

It's football season, or at least pre-season and fantasy drafting....which means a few things in my life. One, my husband's mood will be determined by how well he's doing in his fantasy leagues and two, I will make myself sick on buffalo chicken dip.
{Yes, this is me Tebowing in a tree a few years back. I think he'd  be proud}
But this year I'm taking matters into my own hands. I'm going to see what all this hub-a-ba-loo is about with fantasy football. I'm used to watching only Steelers games and not really caring about what else is on but by joining a league you get invested and of course competition kicks in so it will make each NFL game matter. I've been trying to get in to Dave and his best friends league for a couple years now with no luck (thank Schiller!) so Dave started his own league with some other hometown friends of his and their wives. It'll be some friendly competition between old friends and spouses-we'll see how well that goes in marital disputes.

If that isn't enough I decided to join another league. I couldn't pass up the opportunity when I saw that one of my favorite bloggers, Nadine, was having a league of her own.

When we were little my dad would ask, "what's it all about?" and my sister and I would reply "winning!" This was before Charlie Sheen-he actually copied us-and my poor mom would have to try to convince us it was about fun. Silly lady.
So with that being said, Game On!

  1. Hey there! Just thought I would say hi since we are in the same fantasy league. Oh yeah, I should also say that you're going DOWN. Maybe. Unless I draft badly. You may very well beat me. Wow, I am terrible at being intimidating :)
