Friday's Letters

{Old Walter Reed}
Dear Soldier Family Assistance Center, It's been a pleasure and an honor working for Wounded Warriors and their families the past two and a half years. Walter Reed has a special place in my heart since it's where I met my husband, developed amazing friendships and met some awesome people. I wish all Americans can see what these Warriors go through, how resilient they are and the great attitudes they have in spite of their situations. Dear Nicole, this is going to be hard. I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to you yet. But know that I love you dearly, I'm going to miss car pooling into work together, chatting at work, lunch dates, and hang outs all day long with you. It's never going to be the same but I know that we're ALWAYS going to be friends and though things will be a little different we'll make it work. Dear Dave, yay, our plumbing has been laid! I'm not the best with knowing the whole house building process, but I'm really excited for everything. Dear summer, I'm so excited for sleeping in, lazy beach days, quality time with Dave. I feel like I haven't had a true summer in so long, you've been missed. I'm going to enjoy the hell out of you! Dear Dave, I'm really proud of you and your Black Belt certificate! Dear Loft, Oooooh I love you. Nicole and I went to your 50% of sale yesterday during lunch yesterday and I'm so glad we went. I can't wait for no more work clothes, summer attire, and the time to actually pick out outfits and maybe try a little! Dear goodbye's, I hate you. I'm not ready to get all sad and weepy. I may wear sunglasses to work tomorrow. Ugh.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
