This weekend was brutally hot and even going out on Saturday night the breeze just felt like hot air. The view from the rooftop bar was beautiful and we even got to see some fireworks left over from the 4th of July.
Dave starts his new job with a different unit on Monday, so things will start to really get back to normal with work and life. We're not sure on his hours yet but are hoping it won't keep him away from home too late. Although, he's still really excited he gets two days off a week....that didn't happen while he was deployed (what? no weekends?!).
