New York, New York

My mom and I took the bus to NYC this past weekend for just a night. The great thing about traveling with my mom is that we're usually on the same wave length with things, so she's one of the best travel companions. We walked around the city, went to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree, saw a show (The Rockettes), did some shopping, got to catch up with my friend Bradly at dinner, went to Bryant Park outdoor market, and tons more.

Radio City Music Hall is beautiful and the Rockettes are so impressive. I think I will be stretching more often so I can kick my legs a little higher.

It was so cute, one solider lit the cannon and you can see to the right the Boom sign and then they all fell down. I was amazed at how flat they got.

Mom and I on the steps Glee sang on when they went to NYC (YES! I love them), in the middle of Time Square. While it was a jam packed weekend I am so glad that my mom and I were able to spend some quality time together. I was happy to come home to good ol' Washington DC though. It's a big city too but somehow feels less crowded and rushed and I really love that.

The left picture is me at Bryant Park on the phone with DAVE! Poor guys sinuses are acting up so he's not feeling too well lately. Pray he gets better soon, I hate hearing him all stuffed up.
The right picture is the only real issue we had. We walked into our hotel room and the window was open and would not close. That is me holding the window up so that we didn't freeze until the technician came. Unfortunately he didn't come in a timely manner so we went to dinner anyway. But thankfully by the time we came back the window was up and our room was cozy warm!
