Another DC bucket list item crossed off today. We headed into the city to the National Cathedral and took a self guided tour. After we walked around we stood outside and found the Darth Vader gargoyle! Yes, I said Darth Vader. In the 80's a nation wide children's decorative sculpture competition was held while the west towers were under construction, and Darth Vader was the 3rd place winners entry!

It was a fun day of more pizza (2 Amys), sight seeing, and nap time on the new couch! I'm a little sore from all of the obstacles from the race yesterday, but it was totally worth it.
