And now our school is closed anyways! Because of Facebook etc we know what everyone is up to anyways. It's not like back in the day when your reunion might be the first time you've seen or heard from most of your classmates in a decade or more. I'd consider going if I still lived in DC but it isn't worth the expense. As for now I'm going to enjoy my relationships with those I keep in contact with from H.S and leave it at that.Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02030362917881238951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2671414287365850903.post-34664357320770889562014-03-26T21:20:52.388-04:002014-03-26T21:20:52.388-04:00Nope, didn't go to my 10 year reunion. By that time so much will have changed (I hope at least!) for us all, high school drama will be behind everyone and it will probably be super exciting to catch up. I vote with Bridget...save your money to spend time with the people you care about. Like me! Of course, it is in DC, and I'm in DC, soooooo that could work in my favor. New plan: skip the reunion, but still come to DC! High school was a great time, but I want to remember it as so and leave it at that. And exactly, if you're still friends with someone from HS, you know what's going on in their life. No need to spend money and time in a room with people you haven't seen in 10 years (for probably good reason) to catch up. I am sure for people who grew up in one place, it may be fun to "go back home" in addition to a reunion, which then I may be for. But for us, DC has very little meaning, at least to me, it's not Heidelberg nor is the reunion at HHS. I say save your money and go on vacation with your friends from HS who do keep in touch with!
